Until my new inspiration blog Reverie is created, I wanted to share weekly inspirations with you here on the Soulographer Blog.
Inspiration. As photographers we need to be inspired. Crave it. Desire it. Without it, we wilt.
There’s no real strong theme for today’s inspiration, just pulled together what spoke to me.
The image of the boat reminds me of the scene in Anne of Green Gables (favorite movie) where she is pretending to be the “Lady of Shallot”.
What inspires you?

There is inspiration to be found on places such as Facebook, but the good stuff, the stuff worth living, can be found right now in your life.
Until next time,
- Skye, xoxo

Ummmm yes!!! Anne of Green Gables has to top the list!
I absolutely love your work. These photos that you posted are amazing and very inspirational. I don’t do a lot of children photography, but I do look at your work for other ideas and inspiration in photo shoots and editing.
Thanks for sharing, and your encouragement to all photographers with inspiration.
Aloha

Love this Friday inspiration! Right in time for the weekend and for me, spring break! I have that saying that you have posted, hanging in my office. Love it! I bought it on Etsy awhile back but it’s small….5×7.
You are continuously motivating me to push a little harder and it’s working…business is getting better. I look at your workbook weekly and read the sections that pertain to me that week. Such a great resource for me. Have a great week Skye!
That really was inspiring! Thank you!
“She has heard a whisper say
a curse is on her if she stay.”
Always one of my favorites as well, both the book, and the movie. And to ^Jennifer: So cute that you named your son Gilbert! It’s a wonderful name. Just make sure he doesn’t tease any redheads;)
I love this…hope you do more Friday Inspirations :)
