Skye Hardwick Edmonds is the emotive childhood photographer behind Work of Heart Photography™; and traveled over three years teaching photography workshops around the country. In 2009 she retired from live workshops to be able to spend more time with her family and better focus on her business.
The good news is she has compiled all of her teachings into one information packed punch — the Workshop Workbook.
She believes photography is about more than the relationship between light and shadows — there is an undeniable heart-connection between an artist and their images. This connection is essential to create images that are authentic and awe-inspiring.
Known as the children’s photographer who drags vintage furniture outdoors for sessions; Skye wholeheartedly believes an old building, complete with peeling paint, will make the perfect backdrop for a portrait.
She resides in the ever-sunny Southern California with her husband and her son; and visits to her hometown of Pittsburgh PA as often as possible.
